Have your pitching and/or hitting mechanics analyzed and evaluated through e-mail or regular mail! 

The Baseball Barn uses video analysis to illustrate the proper mechanics in both pitching and hitting.  Telling a player what he's doing is one thing but showing him is another.  Getting a visual image of the correct mechanics is crucial in the learning process. 

For pitching analysis:  Send video of at least 10 pitches (5 each from the angles shown in the photos above).  Please include a few pitches from the wind-up and set (stretch) position from each angle.  At the end of the video, please demonstrate how you are gripping your different pitches by holding each of them up to the camera at a close range. 

For hitting analysis:  Send video of at least 10 swings from the angle shown in the photo above.

If sending via e-mail, please make sure your video file will work with Windows Media Player.  I will open it using another video analysis software program to perform the analysis.  I will e-mail back your evaluation along with instruction detailing how to correct any mechanical flaws detected.  If sending via regular mail,  please send in a DVD or VHS format to The Basebal Barn, 7001 Benton Road, Paducah, KY 42003.   I will send back a video evaluation (including instruction) within a few days upon receiving your video.  Player is responsible for postage (whatever means you choose) to The Baseball Barn but I will pay for the return postage (will send Priority Mail).
